A fun fact I just found out from my Wikipedia search is: Baidu, China’s largest search engine, counterpart of Google, actually started before Google instead of after, contrary to what people would imagine. Larry Page, co-founder of Google, referenced the patent filed by Robin Li, founder of Baidu.
